Husqvarna Motorcycles is proud to announce that the design concept of the all-new VITPILEN 701 realised by the Austrian based company Kiska has earned global recognition, winning an iF DESIGN AWARD 2016 at the recent iF Product Design Awards Competition, held in Munich, Germany.
For over 60 years the iF Product Design Award forum has attracted thousands of product entries from all-over the world, with renowned experts recognising outstanding achievements in design. For 2016 the number of competitors exceeded all expectations, with more than 5,000 product entries from 53 nations hoping to earn the coveted iF logo of design excellence.
Officially unveiled at the 73rd EICMA Motorcycle Exhibition in Italy at the end of 2015, the VITPILEN 701 concept-bike is the next step in Husqvarna’s vision of street motorcycling. Inspired by the same unique design approach that runs through the VITPILEN family, the VITPILEN 701 is an all-modern, large displacement single-cylinder motorcycle created to provide a raw and authentic experience to the rider.
With the iF DESIGN AWARD providing international design recognition, Husqvarna Motorcycles promises to remain faithful to its own vision of building unique, state-of-the-art motorcycles.
